Worthington-Elliot – Mary Worthington b: 8-18-1721 at Stonington Conn, at Killingworth, d. at Killingworth, Conn. on 6-28-1785, married 2-14-1745 to Aaron Elliot 3-15-1718 Killingworth, Conn d. Killingworth, 12-30-1785 Aaron Elliott appointed Judge of Probate Court District of Guilford, Conn. May 1779. Patticot – purchasing agent for supplies – Town clerk – Town Registrar. Judge of the Court of Probate for the District of Saybrook (now in Middesex[1] C. Conn.) May 1781, the years insuing[2], also May 1781, Judge of the Court.  Ref. Colonial Records of Conn. p. 223-225. He was Capt. Major and Colonel Militia companies in the French and Indian Wars, Vol I pages 201-202, Hist. Of Eastern Conn.

Sketch of Daniel Worthington – b. 13 Jan. 1720 – 1 March 1784 Colchester, Conn. m. Elizabeth D/O Deacon Samuel Loomis, Jr. of same town.  Elizabeth died 3 Dec. 1789. Issue: Elizabeth 1721 m. 17_3 Nehemiah Daniels of Hebron Conn., Elias 1722, Asa 1724-1745, Sibley 1727 m. Twice (1) Deacon Elijah Smith in 1750 (2) Deacon Hoony, Sarah 1734 m. 7-12-50 Dr. John Ely Saybrook, Conn. Issue: Worthington Ely 1760 graduated Yale  College, Mary Worthington M. Aaron Elliot g.g.grandson of John Elliott “The Apostle of the Indians”, Asa in 1745 was witness to a quit claim deed of the Indian reservation of Norwich Conn. from the descendants of Owanecco and other principal Mohegans, in favor of the English claimant. This was the last aboriginal claim to land in Norwich and amounted to  300 acres.
