Blog Query: David Greenwood Worthington

  • My ggf was David Greenwood Worthington born 1821 in Mississippi . He showed up in Washington County,Florida about 1845 on the first Florida voters list and lived there till his death in 1893 .

    He married and raised a large family before his death. I have not found any parents for him, I did find one brother Martin M. Worthington born in 1819 also in Mississippi.

    If anyone has any information on this line please help.

      I have a slight connection to the Worthington’s in Florida (Washington County). Please see my tree at http://online.dralex.com/margmarieh/. Click on “People”, then “W”.

      Florida Worthington married into my Kolmetz line. (She was not in my direct ancestry). I would recommend that you check into the history of this family and see if they are connected to your line. I will look in my Washington County Heritage book and see what I can find, too,
