Sketch of Glenn Hood Worthington – was a Chief Judge. He spent most of his boyhood days on his father’s farm. He went to public schools, then to Frederick City College. He began teaching in the public schools to pay his way while he studied law. He taught for two years, while attending the School of Law of the University of Maryland from which he graduated in May, 1887. He returned to Frederick and was appointed School Examiner in 1888: a position he held for almost four years until he resigned.
