2013 Docu-Challenge #1: English Parish Register Marriage Entry–Part 4 REVISED

An update to this blog post:  2013 Docu-Challenge #1: English Parish Register Marriage Entry–Part 4 Marriage Summary Conclusion

Following the comments on the previous blog posts, a couple of Google+ Hangouts On Air with DearMYRTLE, active conversation between end users and the developer of Evidentia, an update was issued to the program.

The only change I made to the data in my Evidentia file was to update the Summary of Findings or the Summary Conclusion for the data presented.

I dated the first summary then appended the Summary Conclusion and created the Genelogical Proof Report, as seen in the following screens:

Summary of Findings:

Evidentia-3-02

Itemized Research Findings:

Assertion 1: (Assertion about the Marriage of William Warren and Sarah Bickle)

Evidentia-3-03

Itemized Research Findings:

Assertion 2: (probably not really required, but may be important information after other information is found – who the couple were married by)

Evidentia-3-04

Itemized Research Findings:

Assertion 3: (noting that Sarah Bickle signed the record with an “X”)

Evidentia-3-05

Itemized Research Findings:

Assertion 4: (noting the two witnesses, and that Daniel Prior also signed the record with an “X”)

Evidentia-3-06

Recommendations for Continuing and End Notes:

As noted earlier in the blog on this Docu-Challenge, I had questions about the spelling of the town. The Recommendations for Continuing is a note, within Evidentia, for me to follow up on this issue and to find out more about this Church.

Since this report is generated in my browser, I copied and pasted the report for easier reading.

  1. Lisa Gorrell says:

Is there a reason you have “f” where “s” should be in consent (assertion 1) and solemnized (assertion 3)? I know the letter looks like an f, but is really how they wrote the s in those days.
